The Morris Eight Tourer Club
of New Zealand (Inc)

Barry's Seven Year Restoration

In 1993 he purchased a trailer load of parts that, except for the wheels and grille did not look like a Morris 8. It was originally a Series one four door sedan but in later years someone  cut the top off, painted it bright (Kermit the Frog green)and used it for chasing rabbits

Barry's interests include fishing, golf and restoring a Morris 8, not necessarily in that order, I have a sneeking suspicion nothing interferes with his golf.

Barry decided against trying to match up the cut off top and bought a second Morris 8, a two door with a good body.

Seven years later the car is back to better than new, black and royal blue paint, blue upholstery and new chrome.
